Welcome and thank you for visiting my site.

 

If you've found your way here, chances are you have something on your mind that you'd like to talk about. I invite you to reach out and set up an appointment or ask any questions you may have.  

Life presents us with challenges that evoke feelings of sadness, unease, overwhelm, fear - or sometimes we just feel lost or stuck. While we cannot change the past or eliminate life's ups and downs, it is possible to resolve conflicts, gain new perspectives and bring greater joy and meaning to your life.

Embarking on a therapeutic journey can be a profound and transformative experience. It can also be challenging and takes work. In our sessions together, we delve into your inner world and examine patterns from your past that consciously and unconsciously manifest in your current life. Often you'll uncover feelings and thoughts you didn't even realize were there. While some may be tempted to bypass this step, it is necessary and pivotal. By recognizing these feelings and patterns in the present moment and exploring the motivations behind your thoughts and behaviors, you gain the ability to expand your self-awareness and create long-lasting change and fulfillment in your life. Once this happens, the tools you may already have learned in addition to the new tools you will learn in therapy, can be used to take your life to the next level. 

Additionally, the therapeutic relationship you and I will develop during our sessions often mirrors the dynamics of your close relationships outside of therapy. If you frequently experience emotions such as anger or guilt, it's possible that our relationship may occasionally evoke those feelings. However, being able to recognize and openly discuss these experiences can be tremendously healing and transformative.
